I've been a cyclist ever since my first Triang three-wheeler, and then the Raleigh Rodeo that succeeded it. There have been times when I've not cycled much and there have been times when I've ridden a lot. I've ridden short distances fast and long distances slowly. I'm a veteran of many an Ironman race, Audax and more recently Ultra. I completed my first ultracycling event in 2015 - the 3rd edition of the Transcontinental. I've since entered the Transibérica a number of times.

I'm not an author, not really. Splash is my first ever creative venture. It was a fascinating project to write and a process I absolutely enjoyed. Perhaps not so much the post-writing bit - figuring out publishing and promotion etc.
